F.A.Q
Are supplies included?
Yes, we bring everything we need to clean your home. There is nothing you have to provide us. This includes cleaning supplies, towels and vacuum. We would be happy to substitute any specific product you provide us.
Will we get the same crew at our home each time?
Yes, we strive to keep the same crew at your home each time. That way they become familiar with your needs and requirements.
How do you base your pricing?
We work off a flat rate. This way you know what to expect each visit. It is based on an hourly rate. Prices are subject to change with advance notice.
Do you use Eco-Friendly cleaning supplies?
Yes, we use ‘Green Seal Certified’ cleaning products from 3M. These products are mixed from a concentrate. By adding water ourselves, this cuts down on packaging waste. The Green Seal standard reduces human and environmental toxicity.
How do you clean my wood floors?
We use a concentrated floor cleaner. A small amount is added to the mop water. Several steps are involved in cleaning wood floors. We dust mop, vacuum, damp mop and dry with towels.
Do you charge extra to clean my refrigerator or stove?
No, these are included in your service. By cleaning these each time, they are easier to maintain.
Can you change linens?
Yes, no problem. Set the sheets on the bed or let us know where they are kept and we will change them each visit.
Do you offer laundry service?
Yes, we do with vacation rental cleanings. Laundry service for our regular clientele is on a case by case basis.
Do you offer one-time cleaning?
Yes, absolutely. Expecting company, preparing your home for sale or moving into a new house are all great reasons to call us.
Do you offer construction clean-ups?
Yes, we do! Whether it is working with a contractor or the homeowner directly, we love to make the house shine.
What is the difference between a cleaning service and a maid?
The main difference is the number of people cleaning your home. We use a team approach. This means we can get your home cleaner in less time. You will not have to worry about us not showing up!
Is there anything we need to do to prepare for your visit?
No, not really. Our time is best spent doing the deep cleaning homeowners do not have time to do. Doing dishes and picking up important items beforehand helps us to focus on the important tasks at hand.
Do I need to be home while you are cleaning?
No, you do not. It helps to have the place to ourselves but it is not necessary. We can let ourselves in and lock up when we leave.
Is a deep cleaning necessary before starting an on-going service?
Yes, most of the time, it is. A deep cleaning allows us to get the house ready to be maintained on a regular basis.
What is included in the weekly/bi-weekly/monthly service?
Regular service includes a thorough cleaning of the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. We vacuum, dust, mop floors and clean surfaces. Time spent on these tasks depends on the frequency of our visits.
Are you able to offer a customized cleaning solution for my home?
Yes, we can. Each home is unique. No two situations are the same. We need to understand what is important to you.
Are there any contracts to sign?
No. We earn your business each and every time.
Can you give me an estimate over the phone?
No. It is best to do a walk-through of the home to determine your needs. It is very difficult to arrive at a price without seeing it first.
Are you insured?
Yes, we are licensed and insured. We carry liability insurance as well as worker’s comp.
How do you handle damaged property?
Accidents happen. We will always let you know if something gets broken. We will repair or replace anything that gets damaged.
Who do I call if I have issues?
Please call me directly. We constantly strive to improve our service. Open communication is best. Please give us the opportunity to fix the problem.
What is your process in cleaning vacation rentals?
We specialize in vacation rental cleaning. More steps are involved. In addition to cleaning the home, we wash all linens and towels as well as organize throughout. See our detailed list under ‘Vacation Rentals’.
